Position: Marketing Coordinator & Event Manager
The CEO of an exciting, fast-growing company is looking for a Marketing Coordinator / Event Manager to support daily marketing activities, develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy and manage all corporate events. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and have work experience supporting marketing initiatives and managing public events. Candidate must be professional, detail-oriented, a multitasker and possess strong Microsoft Office skills.
Qualified candidates will have three to five years of recent event management and marketing experience, a solid work history and a demonstrated track record.
- Support the development and execution of company marketing strategy
- Manage daily marketing activities; support current company marketing initiatives including email campaigns, vendor booths / expos, radio shows and TV segments
- Research and identify new marketing opportunities and understand competition
- Develop marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content; manage the creation of marketing collateral
- Coordinate events including meetings, speaking engagements, seminars and vendor booths at trade shows /expos / local real estate meetings
- Develop and execute print and media campaigns
- Develop and monitor corporate communications plan and strategy for uniformity in message
- Maintain company web sites: keep current the pictures, copy, announcements, events, etc.
- Produce company newsletter
- Plan and execute email campaigns
- Design and implement marketing and public relations plans to market events and products
- Maintain database of media and advertising contacts
- Manage contracts with event venues; maintain database / files of contracts
- Manage online event registration pages
- Write and distribute press releases and produce media kits
- Invite media to regional events and serve as onsite media contact
- Maintain and manage marketing and event calendars
- Support company affiliate program
- Work on special projects as requested
- Minimum three to five of recent marketing and event management experience, a demonstrated track record, and a solid work history (1-2 years at each position minimum)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Fluent with internet search engines, online advertising and online marketing opportunities
- A resourceful self-starter and self-manager; able to prioritize urgent vs. important work requests; ability to work independently and be self directed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including grammar and composition; detail-oriented
- A professional who is able to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a high interrupt environment
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Marketing Coordinator will work out of corporate offices (located at 120th and I-25 in Westminster) Monday through Friday; however, working hours may vary based on current projects. Some evening and weekend work will be required to support evening events

Compensation: $30K - $40K based on experience
